Last two; Best two.

The McMahon’s Girls Varsity field hockey team earned an overtime win in their previous game against Westhill High School. This has given the girls hope for their very last two games of the season. With continuous hours of practice and hard work the team says that they are coming out harder than ever.

On Friday October 21st, the Varsity team has their second to last home game against Ridgefield High School @4pm. The girls will support Breast Cancer awareness by wearing matching pink based warmup shirts and pink tinsel for good luck. The concession stand will be open in addition to a Bake Sale Fundraiser for breast cancer awareness.

The team will match the total amount of sales and donate to Pink Aid. Pink Aid provides compassionate support, critical resources, and emergency financial assistance to underserved breast cancer patients and their families.

The final home game on will be on October 25th @7pm against the rival, Norwalk High School. This is the last home game for McMahon’s seniors. Before the game there will be a ceremony prior to honor the seniors for their 4 years of loyalty and dedication to the team. The girls will be announced to walk on the field alongside their family and teammates one final time.

So, come support the varsity girls field hockey team as they face their rivals one last time! Leave the tears at home as they strive for victory!
