The traditional Bear Hunt is slowly but surely creeping up on us. This Thanksgiving the Senators football will go against the NHS Bears, and they have the game plan all laid out.
Our team is more than ready for this week’s game, as it’s the rivalry game and the last game of the season. They are preparing in various ways, getting physically and mentally ready for this tough game.
Talking to head Coach Q, he said the team has “The best players on the field, one of them being Jermel “Deuce” Bynum.” All the plays are going to be played out smoothly and the ball will be kept moving. Coach Q also says “The boys have been working harder and even with almost half the starters in previous weeks of the season being out with injuries who are now all back and better for this game, this won’t be a game you wanna miss.”
Now while talking to the players to gain some insight about what goes on behind their helmets, they are all optimistic about this week’s game. All of them with the same words, “We’re going to win, there’s no other way”.
Sophomore starter Justin Daniels is absolutely ready to go on this hunt more than anyone. In his words: “ You already know how this is about to go, we’re gonna win. Our offense is working hard and our defense is working even harder. We’re taking this home.”
The boys all have this mindset and there is nothing that will stop them from getting this win because that’s true. This game is not only going to be a battle of the schools but it’s going to be a test of skill as well. And jot who has the best plays or anything but who applies and pushes themselves more on that field this Thursday.
Come support our senators tomorrow at 10 am on Casagrande Field!
