Boys Lacrosse starts the season off 1-0
This past Saturday the Senators Boys Lacrosse team won their season opener 12-11 in overtime against Horace Greeley. It was a great team win because they were down 5-1 at the end of the first quarter, and 11-7 with only 10 minutes left in the game, yet they were still able to get it done. The team showed their level of toughness, determination, and ability to overcome adversity with this crucial win. It was very difficult to name a player of the game because there were so many worthy players, but I am going to give it to Teddy Luthy who scored 4 goals for the Senators. The other key performances came from James O’leary who scored 3 goals, Max Makover and Jake Luthy who had 2 goals each, and lastly Lucas Silva had 1 goal. Their next home game will be on Tuesday April 4th at 5:00 pm against Bethel where they will look to go 2-0.
