Learning Lacrosse As A Senior
This spring is going to be my first Lacrosse Season, which isn’t going to be easy because I’m a senior. Before about a month ago, I have never played or even picked up a Lacrosse stick.
The preseason was definitely stressful, because I was competing for spots with people who have been playing the game for years and have a lot more experience than I do.
I feel like each practice I have been improving little by little which is great, but I still have a long way to go. All of the knowledge and skills that I’ve gained so far are all because of my coaches and teammates who showed me the values of the McMahon Lacrosse Program, which are hard work, determination, and grit.
A lot of you reading this are probably wondering why I would decide to join a new team as a Senior. And the answer to that question is because I want to be apart of something before I graduate that would keep me busy, give me the opportunity to join a brotherhood, and to make memories for a lifetime.
