At school, there are a lot of different types of people, but Antwone is someone who stands out once you actually get to know him. At first he might just seem like a normal student talking with friends in the hallway, but there’s more to him than people might expect. When I talked to Antwone, one thing that came to mind was how important it is for him to be real.
“I just try to be myself,” he said. I don’t like acting fake around people.”
That attitude is probably why he has a strong group of friends and gets along with so many different people. Antwone said that some of his experiences have shaped who he is today. Even though he didn’t go into full detail, he made it clear that he’s learned how to deal with challenges and keep moving forward. Instead of letting things bring him down, he tries to stay positive and focused.
In school Antwone balances his work and his social life like most students. He admitted that he doesn’t always love every assignment, but he knows school is important.
“You just have to get it done,” he said. Teachers see that too, and they know he’s capable when he puts in the effort.
Outside of class, Antwone spends a lot of time with his friends. He’s the kind of person who jokes around but can also be serious when it matters.
One of his friends said, “He’s funny, but if you need someone to talk to, he’s there.”
Another thing Antwone talked about was music. He said he listens to it a lot, especially when he needs to clear his head.
“It helps me think,” he said.
Like a lot of students, it’s one of the ways he relaxes and takes a break from everything going on.
When it comes to the future, Antwone is still figuring things out. He doesn’t have every detail planned, but he knows he wants to be successful and do something meaningful.
“I just want to make something of myself,” he said.
Overall, Antwone is someone who keeps things real, values his friendships, and keeps pushing forward even when things aren’t easy. He might not try to stand out, but once you actually talk to him, it’s clear that he’s someone worth knowing.
