Spring is finally here and the weather is getting warmer. With these conditions, seniors are finally getting ready for senior assassin.
“What is senior assassin?” you may be wondering, senior assassin is an elimination game played by only seniors every year. It is organized by the students and the goal of the game is to “assassinate” assigned targets with water guns. Players pay for a chance to play, and whoever wins receives all the money that was paid by everyone.
The game isn’t too easy though, there are rules players have to follow. Every player must have their location on a certain app for everyone to see in order to track their target down. There are also “no kill zones” which means a player cannot be assassinated in certain places such as being on campus during school hours, churches, workplaces, and other certain events like during sport games.
In order for a player to fully get their target out, it must be caught on video or else it will not count. Players also have different types of protection each day to protect themselves from getting out. For example, on Monday the protection could be goggles, but on Tuesday the protection could be wearing a big floatie around your hips.
Sundays are the worst for each player. Sundays are called “Purge day”. This means that there is no protection used at all, and for players who haven’t gotten their target out by the end of the day, they will be eliminated.
The game for our seniors starts April 20th and it lasts several weeks until there is finally a winner.
