Brawl Stars is a multiplayer online person vs person battle game where you level up your characters and fight against real people in countless different game modes to achieve victory. Friends can team up and battle alongside each other to level up their characters and gain trophies. While it sounds like your typical multiplayer person vs person game, Brawl Stars has many appeals that make it so popular and fun to play. It is one of the most popular games in the world and has so many people hooked; including numerous students in our school.
As of now, there are 86 different brawlers in the game available to unlock and play, each with their own special weapons and abilities which gives the game a strategic twist. Some characters like El Primo are great for getting up close and personal with the enemy and dealing big damage while other characters like Byron are good for staying back and healing teammates. With each character being unique, it ensures a different playstyle each time and adds re-playability to the game.
Two of our very own students from McMahon are avid Brawl Stars players and claim to be the best in the school, seniors Charlie Pavia and Jacob Virgulak.
“Brawl Stars is not just a game,” Virgulak said in an interview. “Brawl Stars is more a lifestyle, to say the least…Once you pick up Brawl Atars for the first time you’ll never want to put it down.”
This is a very intriguing statement, could Brawl Stars be this addictive? When he was asked why he thinks Brawl Stars is so popular among high schoolers, he said, “It’s an engaging experience that we can all have and share and create memories playing together.”
When asking senior, Charlie Pavia about Brawl Stars he opened his sentence with a bit of a flex, claiming that he was one of the top 700 ranked players in the U.S. This is a very impressive achievement in the world of Brawl Stars. When asked why he loves Brawl Stars so much he says, “It’s such a diverse game. There are so many different game modes, so many different brawlers to choose from and it’s just so much fun,” Pavia said.
The diversity and replayability seem to be a driving factor in the popularity of this game. When asked about why he thinks Brawl Stars is so popular among high school students he said, “It’s a mobile game so you can play it whenever and wherever you want. And second, it’s made by Supercell which is a very popular company that has made other very popular games like Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, etc, so it has a very good reputation.”
After all of these crazy claims from our own students, I had to check the game out for myself. After a while of playing, I too got addicted to the game and started having so much fun playing it. After playing around with a few different brawlers I found my favorite, Gus. I liked playing Gus so much that I got him to 1,000 trophies which is a sought-after achievement in Brawl Stars.
I love the game so much! The reason this article was turned in late was that I was too busy playing Brawl Stars! (kidding).
Brawl Stars has taken over the mobile game market and has become the most popular mobile game out. I would personally recommend Brawl Stars to all my friends and family and no this is not a paid sponsorship! Brawl Stars is not only just a game but a way to connect with friends, build relationships, and strengthen friendships.
