How to watch Seahawks vs. 49ers wild card game: Live stream, TV channel, start time - NBC Sports Bay Area

The first of the loaded slate of games feature the 9-8 Seattle Seahawks vs the 13-4 San Francisco 49ers. The Seahawks needed a little help in order to make the playoffs. Entering the final week of the season they needed to beat the Rams and the Lions would have to beat the Packers in order to get into the final playoff spot. Luckily for Seattle, both happened as they beat the Rams 19-16 and the Packers lost 20-16. The 49ers on the other hand needed zero help getting into the playoffs. San Francisco won their final 10 games running away with the NFC West capturing the number 2 seed in the NFC. This game is not expected to be close as the 49ers are heavily favored. A blowout is not out of the question. FOX will televise the game.

Jacksonville Jaguars go out west and dominate Los Angeles Chargers, 38-10 - Big Cat Country

The Jaguars enter the playoffs storming in behind a 7 game winning streak as well as the AFC South showdown against the Titans. The Chargers finally have made the playoffs under Justin Herbert after 3 years. This game is one of the more interesting games this weekend as each team is evenly matched. One of the big storylines from this game is the rivalry between two of the most talented young quarterbacks Trevor Lawrence and Justin Herbert. Fair or not, this game definitely will be a determining factor on who is better. The Chargers are slightly favored but it will definitely be a close game. This game will be broadcasted on NBC.

Miami Dolphins vs Buffalo Bills

How to watch Dolphins vs. Bills wild card game: Live stream, TV channel, start time - NBC Sports Bay Area

The Bills enter the playoffs with only one expectation: Winning the Super Bowl. In the past two years they have been in the AFC Championship Game in 2020 as well as being 13 seconds away from hosting last year’s AFC Championship Game in Buffalo. But both years they have come up short to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. This is their moment and it all starts with the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins have had an interesting season. Finishing 9-8 with their quarterback Tua Tagovailoa missing 5 games as well as this week’s wild card game. His replacement is Miami’s 3rd String quarterback Skylar Thompson. Many think this will be a blowout but it could be closer than it seems. Miami split the season series between Buffalo and both games were close. Obviously, Miami had their 1st string quarterback during those games but don’t be surprised if Buffalo might underestimate Miami and for it to be a close game late in the 4th. This game will be broadcasted on CBS.

New York Giants vs Minnesota Vikings

Giants vs. Vikings Prediction, Odds, and Picks for Wild Card Weekend

The Giants enter the postseason for the first time since 2016. The unexpected season can be attributed to the hiring of first time head coach Brian Daboll. Daboll, the frontrunner for coach of the year, has installed confidence and structure that Giants so desperately needed. 4th year quarterback Daniel Jones has had a breakout season as well as running back Saquon Barkley recapturing his production from his rookie year. Their opponent, the Minnesota Vikings, have had one of the most strange seasons that anyone can remember. A 13-4 record has not been as dominant as it looks. They are the only team in NFL history to have won 13 games and have a negative point differential. Many people are expecting the Giants to win the game even while being the lower seed. This game will definitely be close as both teams won most of their games in close games. This game will be broadcasted on FOX.

The beasts of the AFC North face off in a huge wild card matchup. The 12-4 Cincinnati Bengals are trying to repeat as AFC champions. The Ravens are trying to win their first playoff game since 2020. The Bengals are led by their superstar quarterback Joe Burrow. The Ravens star quarterback Lamar Jackson is sidelined with an injury and will miss the game. In his replacement, backup Tyler Huntley looks to come away with the big upset victory. The Ravens have struggled without Lamar losing out on the division title in his absence. The Bengals are heavily favored in this game as they hope for a Super Bowl Run. Many people expect a blowout but the Ravens could keep this close. This game will be televised on NBC.

2023 NFL Playoffs Wild Card Game: Dallas Cowboys vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers Game Prediction and Preview 1/16/2023 | The Wright Way Network

The final game of the wild card round might be the most anticipated. “America’s Team” the Dallas Cowboys against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Cowboys finished the season with an impressive 12-5 record. Many people do not believe in the Cowboys because of previous playoff failures. Opposing them, probably the most clutch quarterback of all time, Tom Brady. The Buccaneers had a disappointing regular season with an 8-9 record. The only reason they made the playoffs was because of a poor division. But with all that, it is still Tom Brady in the playoffs. Do not be surprised if the Buccaneers make a deep playoff run. The Cowboys hope to go deep into the playoffs for the first time since 1996. This game is definitely a box office hit. The ratings on this game will be incredible. ESPN will televise the game as well as the “Manning Cast” on ESPN2.
